The Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a feast day which is celebrated on July 16th. It is an optional memorial feast in the Roman Catholic Church and is used to celebrate the appearance of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Carmelite Saint Simon Stock on July 16th, 1251. Mass at 8:30 am As we continue our journey in faith, this is a unique opportunity to pray the Rosary for the Consecration of Our Nation.
This Sunday, April 25th, our community will celebrate the 5PM Mass under Calvary in our Stations of the Cross gardens. Chairs will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets. We also invite you to join our Carmelite community at that time as we consecrate our new cemetery. This sacred ground will serve as as the earthly resting place for our deceased Carmelite brothers as we rejoice in the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Thank you for your continued prayers and support of our community in Korona. Saint Joseph, pray for us!
Please join us for outdoor Sunday Mass beginning April 18th at 5PM. We will say Mass at the foot of Calvary in our Stations of the Cross gardens. If the weather does not cooperate, Mass will be prayed in our chapel. God bless you!
