Dearest Friends, Father Joseph has returned to our monastery after a six day visit to the hospital (where he received excellent care!). He is tired but in good health and spirits, and we are relieved that he tested "negative" for the coronavirus. Please understand that Father Joseph will be resting in his room for the next week or two, but truly misses you and remembers you in his prayers. Thank you for remembering him in your prayers as well, especially this Thursday when he turns 86 years old ("Sto Lat!"). As a reminder, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapel continues to be open everyday for prayer from 12PM - 7PM, the Stations of the Cross/Rosary Gardens are open during daylight hours, and Father Artur is available for confession or anointing by appointment. Our prayer is that you can join Father Joseph for Holy Mass and coffee and cake as soon as possible. Jezu Ufam Tobie!
Please note our schedule changes: 7 DAYS A WEEK, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapel is open from 12PM - 7PM and the Stations of the Cross and Rosary Gardens are open during daylight hours. ** Confession and Anointing of the Sick are available, please call 386-437-2910 to schedule ** May God bless you.
Please read our statement regarding schedule changes for the next two weeks. Masses and Lenten Stations of the Cross are cancelled throughout the diocese until at least March 31, 2020. Our chapel will be open from 12pm - 7pm daily, and our gardens will be open for private prayer during daylight hours. Confessions and anointing of the sick are still available by appointment, so please call our office to schedule! Please monitor our website or Facebook page for any changes. God bless you.
Please join us this week as we celebrate the feast day of our patron Saint Joseph on Thursday! On that day we also celebrate the 18th anniversary of Father Julius' ordination and the 30th anniversary of Brother Patrick's vows upon joining the Order of Discalced Carmelites. May God bless you.
